Scholarship Recipients honored at networking reception

Internship essay contestants waited patiently with estatic expressions on their faces to receive their plaques at the 26th Annual Internship Reception and Networking Event last Thursday at the Karol Anatol Center.
Every spring the Career Development Center holds an essay contest for a scholarship for $200 for people who have participated in internships.
Contestants wrote and submitted essays based on their intern experience as and how it influenced their career choices, according to Michelle Chang, internship program coordinator at California State University,Long Beach.
